Story Branch Library
Story Library is a great resource for information gathering and community sharing.
The library brings books and movies to Tuesday Senior Lunches-a boon for conversation starters and ideas.
It brings knowledge, imagination and joy to young & old.
It is so wonderful for the children of our area. The people that work here are wonderful. Very nice environment.
In a small town it is so special to have something for “everyone” to do. The Library is so necessary!!
Great place to visit neighbors and check out the best books & movies in town. Love Book Club. Lots of good information.
Great books & movies-nice folk.
For me, our library is the social and cultural hub of Story.
We love the Story Library! We usually find a book to read, but is so nice to be able to order one and find it waiting within a few days.
Having a library in our community is great. We never stop learning and being entertained with books.
Story Library is everything to our small community-the resources they offer & how wonderful they are with the kids is truly remarkable & appreciated.
It helps me to connect. It’s the information highway.
The Story Library is a great community resource. A friendly staff and good selection keeps me coming back!
I grew up spending a lot of time in libraries, and have always felt very comfortable in, & comforted by, these places. I love to read and am grateful for the vast resources, availability & friendliness provided by the Sheridan area libraries.

Wyoming Boys School
I like to spend time reading books because I don’t usually read.
With the amount of stress, struggle, and constant hard thinking that comes with WBS, the library provides an important break from reality now and a new way to escape reality in a pro-social way when we leave.
It allows me to pick out books that relate to me and help me escape the stresses of life.
Because reading is all I have to do in my spare time.
Libraries allow kids the chance to wander the world even if they’re not able to.
After a long day of hard work, it feels good to relax and read a book. Without the library I would be bored; plus I need a break from reality for just a small time.
I learned at a young age that books can take you places when you can’t afford to go.
I have a chance to improve my vocabulary, and I get to escape reality in a pro-social way.
It helps me expand my vocabulary, and reading about others with problems like mine helps me with my struggles.
It helps me spend leisure time in a way that doesn’t get me into trouble.
It allows me to read and enjoy the wonderful books that I want and gives me something to do when I have nothing else to do. I enjoy reading.
It supplies me with educational and entertaining books of all sorts, which supply me with a wider knowledge and vocabulary.
I can get lost in a book for a while which is cool.
Books are a good tool for passing time and learning the history of places and things.
I love reading. Here the only pastime we have is to read. I have read many books since being here.
It helps me learn more and helps me go to different worlds. I like to read.
I like to have books to read.
The library gives us a chance to have books and to enjoy them.
Books give me hope and something to look forward to even when I have given up hope on everything else.
So I can read.
The library is my escape into another realm. A book helps me stay calm and keeps my mind at bay. When times are rough, a book is enough.
It helps us with writing and language especially people like me from a bad background. I never thought reading was good until I got to WBS.
It is interesting to find out about new authors. Books keep me occupied.
I love to read and be able to relate and connect with and through books. A library to me is a beating heart of characters and individual stories of different worlds and lives.
I read to improve my vocabulary. Reading passes the time and relieves stress. I learn a lot!
Thank you guys for all these books and magazines. If we didn’t have any books, how would we read and hop into new stories?
I love to read and love to hear new stories. (Our teachers read to us.)
Our library has a great selection of books and I love to read.
Not only do books help time go by, but reading is a healthy habit to learn. I like to be able to let go of the day and lose myself in a book.
Reading gives us something to do.
Without a book I would slowly go insane.
The selection is nice..anything from post-apocalyptic to fantasy.
I enjoy reading. The library is where I go to get the books I love.
Books help me learn how to write. I like reading because I love fantasy and sports, mythology, science fiction…the whole enchilada.
Reading is one of the best ways to learn.
I really like books!
This library has good books. I have something to read when I am in my room. I feel calm when reading because I don’t think about my problems. I think about the good book I am reading.
The library is a place of unlimited material, a chance to improve reading, and learn different styles of writing.
The library presents me with information and readings I’m interested in, especially the car magazines! Also the library offers me something that helps me put my mind at ease.
The library provides my imagination with other things to look at. It givss me more knowledge through the variety of other people’s knowledge.
It gives us all kinds of books that we can read in our free times. It could help us through hard times and we can learn what we want to learn.
The library has good books, and it’s quiet to read.
Reading gives me something to do, and I feel like the main character in the story.
I enjoy escaping reality for the time that I read. I especially enjoy the suspense and reality of books.
Books give a good escape from the mind set or even the negative attitude I have and they are a good way to get me to realize that what I have is a lot more than a lot of other people have. Also it is a way to learn or even just give me a new peace of mind.
Reading gives me an opportunity to feel and live in a world of my own. It also gives me sanctuary from my bad thoughts, a sanctuary I cannot make myself.
I get to read and learn new stories.
The library provides me with books to do research on projects I’m doing and on things I want to know more about.

I’d be lost! – Terry
The Niobrara County Library is very important to me. It opens my world… it provides me with access to art, music and literature in all of its many modern forms. Without the Niobrara County Library I would be a virtual recluse. Thanks to the WONDEFFUL staff (Librarians are my heroes); I have the world at my feet so to speak. I am utterly amazed at all of the things this library provides - from the newest books, periodicals, block-buster movies and T. V. shoes, Dinner and movie night, music programs, movies and tutoring for the school aged children, book readings, access to the internet (that I do not have at home), numerous other things. As I have denoted librarians are my heroes, and the spectacular ladies of the Niobrara County Library are some of the best I’ve ever had the privilege of knowing; they go above and beyond. – Brenda
